一年一度的北美电影颁奖季已经开跑，而金球奖则是第一个真正重量级的奖项。第75届金球奖提名名单已于11日正式公布。
在电影奖项方面，Guillermo del Toro导演的《The Shape of Water》 以7项提名领跑，Steven Spielberg的《The Post》和《Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri》则分别以6项提名紧随其后。份量最重的剧情类最佳影片提名中，《Call Me By Your Name》、《Dunkirk》、《The Post》、《The Shape of Water》和《Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri》 分别入围；颁奖季热门《I, Tonya》、《Get Out》、《The Disaster Artist》和《The Greatest Showman》都入围了喜剧类最佳。
在个人奖项方面，剧情类最佳男主角的竞争相当激烈：Timothee Chalamet（《Call Me By Your Name》将与Daniel Day-Lewis（《Phantom Thread》）、Tom Hanks（《The Post》）、Gary Oldman（《Darkest Hour》）和Denzel Washington（《Roman J. Israel, Esq.》）几位老戏骨同场竞技。
剧情类最佳女主角的竞争则落在Jessica Chastain（《Molly’s Game》）、Sally Hawkins（《The Shape Of Water》）、Frances McDormand（《Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri》）、Meryl Streep（《The Post》）和 Michelle Williams（《All The Money In The World》）之间。
在电视剧奖项上，在今年艾美奖上大放异彩的《Big Little Lies》以6项提名领跑，HBO的口碑剧集《Feud:Bette and Joan》则以4项提名排第二。
