自制慢炖苹果酿

材料
中型苹果(混合种类)10-12个
橙子2个
新鲜覆盆子2/3 杯
肉桂棒4根
丁香1大匙
肉豆蔻1个
牙买加胡椒1小匙
清水16杯
粗糖或枫糖浆1/2杯

做法
1 把苹果和橙洗净,切四等分,不需要去掉籽或果蒂。把水果和香料一起放进慢炖锅中,加入清水,到差1寸可以倒满慢炖锅即可。在小火上煮6-8小时,或是大火煮3-4小时。
2 在关火前1小时,用马铃薯压泥器或大汤匙把苹果碾碎,继续煮至完全熟软。
3 把煮好的汤过滤,去掉所有残渣,然后重新倒回洗净的慢炖锅中。
4 拌入粗糖或枫糖浆,缀以苹果片或橙子片,以及肉桂,趁热享用即可。

Homemade Apple Cider

Ingredients
10-12 mediuum apples (assorted varieties)
2 oranges
2/3 cup fresh cranberries
4 cinnamon sticks
1 tbap whole cloves
1 whole nutmeg
1 tsp whole allspice
16 cups water
1/2 cup brown sugar or maple syrup

Method
1 Wash apples and orage, cut them into quarters, no need to remove seeds or stems. Place fruit and spices in the bowl of slow cooker. Add water until it’s about 1 inch from the top of the bowl. Cook on low heat for 6-8hrs or on high heat for 3-4 hrs.
2 An hour before completing the cooking, use a potato masher or a large spoon to crush and mash apples, let them continue to cook until completely soft.
3 Strain cider to remove all of solids,
reserving liquid and returning it to rinsed slow cooker bowl.
4 Stir in brown sugar or maple syrup, serve warm with additional apple or orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
